Nicole Thorson
Associate
Nicole is a dedicated educator and certified trainer in Erickson and Lanning Concept-Based Curriculum and Instruction. She completed The Art of Facilitation Institute in 2024. Passionate about concept-based and inquiry-based pedagogies, Nicole promotes a balanced approach to teaching factual knowledge, skills, and deep conceptual understanding.
With experience in IB schools in China and independent schools in New South Wales, she currently leads Teaching and Learning at a new school in South West Sydney. Nicole values collaboration, and fostering a supportive environment through PD, peer coaching, and reflective practice. Her goal is to help teachers and students develop a love of learning and growth.

Juan Carlos Cairos
Associate
Juan Carlos Cairos is an experienced international educator, speaker, and consultant specializing in storytelling. He completed The Art of Facilitation Institute in 2024, and he is in a unique position to bring his workshops to life using authentic examples and strategies from the context of a leading IB school in Asia.
Supporting a diverse range of schools, universities, and government organizations across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, he brings a global perspective and the agility to meet varied educational needs. He believes in the power of dynamic, interactive experiences, empowering teachers to step into the 'productive struggle' --experimenting, reflecting, and growing alongside their students. He translated Jennifer's book "AI-Powered Pedagogy" into Spanish.

David Panford-Quainoo
Associate
David Panford is an international educator, speaker, cognitive coach, and workshop leader with over a decade of experience teaching DP Physics, Mathematics, Science, and Theory of Knowledge from middle school to high school. He completed The Art of Facilitation Institute in 2025 and has taught in Ghana, Mongolia, and Cambodia, working across IB, Cambridge IGCSE, and A Level curricula.
A regular presenter at international conferences, David designs professional learning that is practical, engaging, and grounded in real classroom contexts. Passionate about integrating technology, AI, and innovative pedagogy, he empowers educators to enhance inclusion, foster student agency, and spark curiosity. His goal is to inspire and equip teachers to create transformative learning experiences that prepare students to thrive in an ever-changing world.
